As you all know I’ve been talking about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence every chance I’ve had. It was so great to see the old Tahzoo websites, thank you Piti! You could see that although the technology and market conditions have changed, our core value proposition has not. We are in the business of providing personalized experiences. Now we have new tools to achieve our mission, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The work that Dara, Eddie, Gabe, John Le and others have given us is a roadmap for standing up a practice area that focuses on helping enterprises adopt this new technology. I need everyone in the company to be reading and studying the technology, its potential impacts, practical applications and solutions for our clients.
Leveraging ML and AI will give marketers the opportunity to understand, create and test experiences at a scale that would otherwise be impossible. This will open a range of possibilities, specifically combinations of experiences that will be optimized toward goals or desired outcomes. Digital experiences are uniquely suited for experimentation because of the vast number of interactions between a consumer and a brand. Candidly the conversation rates and time on site measurements are so poor that the initial impact of ML and AI will be significant.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be working with the leadership team on defining a new practice area focused on ML and AI for the enterprise. This will include project definition and new messaging. The market is moving quickly, and we need to be moving faster. I am excited about this next chapter in technology. Even our outside legal counsel said to me, “This next wave of innovation is bigger that the internet.” Imagine that!
