“Once a new technology rolls over you, if you’re not part of the steamroller,
you’re part of the road.”
-Stewart Brand
Hi Everyone,
I am sure when I talk about AI, IT FEELS LIKE I AM TALKING IN ALL CAPS….
I just want to make sure that you are exploring AI/ML technology every day. We need to unlock the brain power of our company and rapidly adopt AI/ML solutions in our business.
I have no doubt you saw this week, that the pre-IPO valuation for OpenAI was set at $90B dollars. That would put OpenAI in the top 150 most valuable companies in the world. They have only been around for eight years. The market does a good job of telling us where there are growth opportunities and where there are big bets being made. Suffice to say that the market is telling us that AI is the next big thing. This is just the beginning of the AI wave.
What does that mean for us? We need to be proactively learning and experimenting with AI technologies. It’s so critical that each of you start to conceive of and ideate on how we can use AI technologies to improve the quality of our work and improve our customer satisfaction. This stuff is right up our alley. Why wouldn’t we be the fastest Agency and Consultancy to broadly adopt AI within our business and for our clients?
We are going to set aside time during our Friday All Hands Meetings for AI show and tell. I would like someone to share a new AI tool or technique that they’ve discovered or have been using. We all need more exposure to the technology and the possibilities. I’ve recently been using the AI features in Teams and ChatGPT Bing, pretty cool stuff. My meetings and my Teams threads can be summarized and delivered to me as a daily update. Imagine how much more effective we could all be by using some of the new Microsoft tools. Gabi and I recently started using beautiful.ai to help craft presentations and organize our thoughts. They have a bunch of templates and tools for auto-generating images and content.
We have an opportunity to use these new tools to create a better work environment, improve the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. I am looking forward to AI Fridays.
Let’s go be great,
Brad
